Romanza Hassell Obituary
Romanza P. Hassell NORFOLK - Romanza P. Hassell, 44, passed peacefully into eternal rest Nov. 27, 2008. She was a native of Norfolk and the daughter of Sandra Hassell Otey and Roosevelt Davis. In addition to her mother and father, she is survived by a daughter, Romarla P. Hassell and son, Desmond P. Hassell, as well as other relatives and friends. A funeral will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Riddick Funeral Service with the Rev. Joyce Martin officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. www.riddickfuneralservices.com.

I was quite surprised to learn of Romanza's death. She spent a few weeks in this area and I loss touch with her when she returned to Norfolk. May God's love and strength comfort you and your family as you adjust to her passing.
