William Elliott Obituary
William Thomas Elliott III SUFFOLK - William Thomas "Shorty" Elliott III, 67, of the 4900 block of Towne Point Road, died Nov. 30, 2008, in his residence. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Thelma Elliott; a brother, Raymond Ellliott (Elba) of Suffolk; a niece and nephew, Sharon and Lamont Elliott; a host of great-nieces and -nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Mamie Elliott and father, Decatur Elliott. A funeral will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Steele Bullock Funeral Home Chapel, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. Viewing will be held today from noon to 8 p.m. Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Family and friends will assemble at 4556 Magnolia Drive at 12:45 p.m. for the procession to the church.
