Alice Robinson Obituary


Alice L. Robinson VIRGINIA BEACH - Alice Louise Watson Robinson died Dec. 4, 2008, in Virginia Beach. She was born July 9, 1918, in Newport, R.I., and was the daughter of the late Daniel and Ethel Watson. Alice was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Church of the Advent in Norfolk and a longtime Cursillo member. Alice is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Curtis Vincent Robinson of Virginia Beach; five children, Carol Robinson of Virginia Beach, Fred Robinson and wife Donna of Midlothian, Va., Nancy Loebsack and husband Eric of E. Wenatchee, Wash., Linda Campbell and husband Allen of Virginia Beach and Bill Robinson of Virginia Beach; eight grandchildren, David Robinson of Midlothian, Jill Loebsack of Kirkland, Wash., Emily Klein and husband Chris of Midlothian, Levi Robinson of Norfolk, Alice Loebsack of Huntington Beach, Calif., Kate Loebsack of E. Wenatchee, Laura Campbell of Virginia Beach and John Campbell of Virginia Beach; one great-grandson, Jackson Klein of Midlothian; and one sister, Norma Vashon of Portsmouth, R.I. A memorial service will be held in the Church of the Advent, 9629 Norfolk Ave., Norfolk, Tuesday at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Advent or the Alzheimer's Association, 6315 North Center Road, Norfolk, VA 23502. Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach, is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.altmeyer.com.
