Harry Griffin Obituary
Harry L. Griffin CHESAPEAKE - Harry L. "Skip" Griffin, 59, of the 600 block of Harbour North Drive, died Dec. 6, 2008, at home. A native of Chesapeake, he was employed by Bayshore Concrete. He is survived by his wife, Marion C. Griffin; daughters, Jacquetta Griffin and Marion Dawson of Chesapeake, and Kateisha Lamb of Capitol Heights, Md.; sons, Erick Griffin, Eric Griffin and Vincent Ferebee of Chesapeake; parents, Rubbien and Pattie Griffin; sisters, Vivian Griffin and Della Wilson of Chesapeake; brother, Ruben Griffin of Chesapeake; and 14 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Clarence Griffin. A funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Lee's Chapel AME Church with interment in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Repast follows the interment at the church. Mr. Griffin will be placed in church Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Services by Chatman /E.A. Hughes Funeral Home.
