I am shocked and saddened to hear of the death of my friend and classmate Kerry. We were in the same class in optometry school. I will always remember him with a smile on his face and a willingness to help others. My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family at this most difficult time.

I, too, am saddened by the news of Kerry's death. I have many fond memories from our days at Lenoir-Rhyne College where we met as freshman and were roommates our junior and senior years. We shared a lot of laughs and even studied a little.

This has come as quite a shock to me! I have been going to Dr. Sullivan for years but have not been in about 2 years. I am from Aulander and had not heard. I, also, am an RN who used to work PT over at Bertie Memorial when Dr. White would come do cataract surgeries years ago. This is how I got to know Kerry and liked him so much. He was such a kind spirited man. This is such sad news to wake up to this morning. My condolences go to his family.

I'm so sorry to hear of Kerry's passing & wish to extend my condolences to his family & friends. I knew Kerry as a little boy & my parents (Buck & Ann Jurney) spent many hours visiting Marie & Paul while we (the kids) galloped inside & out driving the grownups crazy. We always left their home feeling spent & happy and ready to return. We met them at Ham's Grove Baptist Church & were welcomed into their fold. I've many special memories of that time & thank the Lord that the Sullivan family was one of them. My prayer is that the Lord will comfort & sustain Kerry's family & friends as only He can.
