Augusta McNeill Obituary


Augusta T. McNeill VIRGINIA BEACH - Mrs. Augusta Theresa McNeill, 93, wife of the late John Francis McNeill and a resident of Virginia Beach, formerly of Onancock, Va., passed away at her residence Dec. 10, 2008. Born Oct. 1, 1915, in New Rochelle, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late William Krumm and Helena Junger Krumm. She was a member of Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Survivors include two children, Cecilia McNeill-Schum and husband David of Cedarburg, Wis., and John F. "Jack" McNeill Jr. and wife Bonnie Nock of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren, Jonathan McNeill-Schum, Jessica McNeill-Schum, William LeFevre and wife Rhonda, Susan LeFevre-Spath and husband David and David LeFevre; and one great-grandson, Marcel LeFevre. Other than her husband and parents, Mrs. McNeill was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Theresa Hirshboeck and a brother, William Krumm. A funeral will be conducted from the St. Peter's Catholic Church, 25236 Coastal Boulevard, Onley, Va., Monday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Onancock. There will be a visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Joseph's Indian School, Chamberlain, SD 57326 or visit www.stjo.org/flowers.
