Norma Jordan Obituary


Norma Jean Jordan CHESAPEAKE - Norma Jean Jordan, 76, our beloved mother, went to be with her Lord Dec. 10, 2008. Born in Norfolk, Norma was the daughter of the late Norman P. Scott Sr. and Carrie Grimstead Scott. She was preceded in death by her son, Allen James Jordan Jr. She was a retired nurse's aide and a member of Kempsville Baptist Church. Norma is survived by two daughters, Christina Maria Jordan and Diana Jordan Clukey and husband Harold, both of Chesapeake; four sons, Robert Bruce Jordan, John A. Jordan and Howard D. Jordan, all of Chesapeake and Jason Jeffrey Jordan and wife Julia of Jarvisburg, N.C.; nine grandchildren, Jimmy Franklin, Tiffany Jordan, Nicole, Gayle and Brandon Jordan, Blake Scott, Summer and J.T. King and Ashley Fiero; two great-grandchildren, Colt and R.J.; a sister, Shirley Radcliffe and husband Bob of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Bobby Scott of Virginia Beach and Norman P. Scott Jr. and wife Cindy of Hertford, N.C.; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, today from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral chapel with the Rev. Winfield Bevins officiating. Burial will follow in Princess Anne Memorial Park. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
