Colton Berfield Obituary


Colton B. Berfield VIRGINIA BEACH - Colton B. Berfield, 18, passed away Dec. 3, 2008, in Richmond, Va. He was born March 10, 1990, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital and was a resident of Currituck, N.C. Colton was a member of the Future Farmers of America in high school and his favorite color was John Deere green. He loved "mud boggin" in the Currituck area, taking apart and putting together almost everything and monster trucks. He graduated from Currituck High School and Virginia Beach Technical School this past June. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Christina and Philip Corey and Wendy and Robert Mercer; sister, Jennather, Savannah and brother, Lil Phil; aunts, Tammy and family and Kim and family; uncles, JR and family and Brock and family; as well as his adoring grandparents, Nana and Pop; and a host of other loving relatives and too many friends to mention. A memorial service will be held Friday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m. in Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, 601 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach. You may offer condolences to the family at www.mem.com.
