Ramon Gregorio Obituary
Ramon Z. Gregorio VIRGINIA BEACH - Ramon Zamora Gregorio, 75, of Hiwassee Circle, passed away Dec. 11, 2008, in his residence. Born in Polangui, Philippines, Ramon was a retired chief (Submarines) engineman from the U.S. Navy after 20 years and also retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 20 years. He was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church and San Lorenzo Spiritual Center. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 40 years, Lily Manalo Gregorio; two daughters, Jennifer Gregorio Alberto and husband Ren of Virginia Beach and Lillian Starr Gregorio Garcia and husband Jericho of Bainbridge Island, Wash.; two grandsons, R.J. and J.R. Alberto; his sister, Araceli Sabio; and two brothers, Manuel Gregorio and Jose Gregorio. The family will receive friends at San Lorenzo Spiritual Center, 4556 Indian River Road, Virginia Beach, Tuesday from 6 to 9:30 p.m. with prayers and Mass held at 7 p.m. with Father Leo Manalo. The family requests that flowers be omitted. The Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Matthew's Catholic Church by Father Joseph Facura. Arrangements are under the direction of Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Burial with U.S. Navy honors will follow in Colonial Grove Memorial Park.

Everyone here at the stations is so very sorry hear about the passing of your dad, but he fought a long, brave fight and is now where he will never feel pain again and that is a reason to rejoice.
