Margaret K. Weber VIRGINIA BEACH - Margaret K. Weber, 92, died Dec. 12, 2008, in a local hospital. Margaret was a homemaker and the widow of Rear Adm. Alban "Stormy" Weber. Stormy passed away Labor Day 2007. Their home was always open to guests and she was well known for her great parties. She was born in Chicago and was the daughter of the late John J. Kenny and Margaret Harrity Kenny. Her father was an Irish immigrant, who founded Kenny Construction Co., where she worked for a time. She was preceded in death by her older sister and brother, Virginia Lamer and John Kenny and her younger sister, Rosemary Schriver. Her youngest sister, Pat Stineman, lives in Wilmette. She was a graduate of Northwestern University with a B.A. in music education and worked in both New York and Washington, D.C. In Washington, she worked for Archbishop Fulton Sheen. She also modeled for several major companies, doing ads for Coca-Cola, Maybelline cosmetics and Pepsident. Margaret is survived by two daughters, Peggy Ann Howard of Wauconda, Ill., and Gloria Weber-Zuckerman of Philadelphia; two sons, Chip Weber of Virginia Beach and Brian Weber of Chicago; her sister, Pat Stineman, and 10 grandchildren, Chris, Molly, Bonnie, Bridgie, Keith, Jack, Danielle, Kyle, Charlie and Shelby. While a native to Chicago and Kenilworth, she spent 10 years in Port St. Lucie, Fla., and then her final six years in Virginia Beach. She had summered in White Lake, Mich., where the family had a cottage, for more than 50 years. She will be greatly missed everywhere by all. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Virginia Beach, will be sending her to the Donnellan Funeral Home, Skokie, Ill., for services and burial. Services will be held at Faith, Hope, and Charity Catholic Church Tuesday afternoon and she will be laid to rest at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Ill. Dear Weber Family, My sincerest sympathy to all of you. I always looked forward to seeing your Mom every summer in our salon. She was a beautiful person with a beautiful soul. What a legacy she has left all of you. And that goes for your Father as well. My life is blessed for having known them.

Dear Family: I just learned of your Mom's death and wanted to express my sympathies to all of you. I have so many wonderful memories of your parents as we enjoyed so many social events at White Lake over the years. In addition, your Mom and I had a "northshore" connection which made it more special. I will always remember their upbeat spirit. My prayers are with you. Irene Pierson, Sylvan Beach

Dear Weber Family,
We are so sorry to hear of Margie's passing. Both she and Stormy were wonderful people. The White Lake Summer Community is not the same without them. My Mom, Dolly Morton, joins us in sending our sympathy.

We loved "Aunt Margie", and wish we could have all been together much more often during the past many years. What a fantastic and fun Aunt and person....We were all so lucky. My prayers are that she is with God forever.

Margie was a wonderful woman! She was a tribute to Northwestern University, White Lake Yacht Club and all of her charities. She "adopted" us all and we are all the better for it!
