Priscilla Manguba Obituary

Priscilla J. Manguba VIRGINIA BEACH - Priscilla J. Manguba, 36, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends Jan. 10, 2009. Priscilla courageously battled cancer but developed pneumonia on Christmas Eve and was unable to recover. She was a native of Portsmouth and leaves behind a daughter, Patricia Henderson; her two sons, Michael Henderson and John Ward Jr.; brothers, Michael Manguba and Leo Nelos; a niece; five nephews; an aunt; many other devoted relatives and caring friends who loved her deeply. A memorial service and visitation will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the family home in Virginia Beach. Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, is handling the arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to her daughter, Patricia. Online condolences may be made at www.lovingfuneralhome.com.

I feel gratitude as I remember Priscilla. She often gave of her time and "opened her door" to my daughter. As a single mom helping another single mom, her generosity helped me more than she ever knew.
