Polly Heath Obituary

Polly Heath VIRGINIA BEACH - Polly Heath, 53, returned to her Heavenly Father Jan. 17, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Norfolk, the precious daughter of Bill and Pollie Heath of Virginia Beach. She was blessed with many talents. She was an outstanding athlete. She loved and composed music on her guitar. She had a great love and connection with little children. She was an avid animal lover and leaves behind her beloved dog, Taylor. Polly worked as a welder for 20 years with the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. She is survived by her parents; a sister, Sheila Wilgar and husband Mick of Utah; a brother, Steve Heath and wife Linda of Washington; five aunts, June Ingle of Virginia Beach, Virginia Myers of Norfolk, Jenny Myers of Suffolk, Jackie Arnold of Florida and Bobbie Bailey of Chesapeake; one uncle, Ron Heath of Colorado; and also many loving nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss her dearly. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home Jan. 20, 2009. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
