Frank Washington Obituary

Frank W. Washington VIRGINIA BEACH - Mr. Frank W. Washington of the 300 block of Lynn Shores Drive passed Jan. 15, 2009. A native of Norfolk, he was the son of the late Charlie and Minerva Washington. Frank was employed as a mechanic with AJAX Tile. He leaves to cherish his memory stepdaughter, Caroline Griffin; stepsons, Antonio and Joseph Griffin; sisters, Francis Pinkney, Margaret Skinner (John); brothers, Nathaniel Washington (Elaine) and Alinda Washington; and a host of loving nieces, nephews and caring relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Riddick Funeral Service, 1225 Norview Ave. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Newport News. The viewing will be Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Riddick Funeral Service. www.riddickfuneralservices.com.

Doris, Otis, Michael, Esther, Priscilla and Lennon thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. Frank was a second father and a loving Friend we will miss his weekly phone calls, which always included words of encouragement and Love. May your memories bring you comfort and the Master Comforter himself be your strength at this time.
