Margaret Thompson

Margaret Thompson VIRGINIA BEACH - Margaret Thompson, 61, passed away Jan. 27, 2009, in Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. She was born in Norfolk the daughter of the late Clarence and Hazel Liverman. Mrs. Thompson was a greeter at Walmart. She enjoyed flowers. She was predeceased by her husband, William D. Thompson Sr. in 1981. Mrs. Thompson is survived by three children, Sharon Adams and her husband Joe, William D. Thompson Jr. and Kathleen L. Schott and her husband Dustin, all of Virginia Beach; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and 13 sisters and brothers. A service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday in Altmeyer Funeral Home, Maestas Chapel, 1801 Baltic Ave., Virginia Beach, with the Rev. Wayne Skinner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of her daughter, Kathleen L. Schott.
