Vera Helm Obituary

Vera E. Helm SMITHFIELD - Vera Ellen "Beebie" Helm, 74, passed away in her home Jan. 25, 2009. She had been a resident of Isle of Wight County for the past 19 years. Mrs. Helm was a clinician with Western Tidewater Mental Health. She loved to read and do crossword puzzles. Mrs. Helm was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel W. Helm Sr.; and son, Jeffrey Mitchell Helm. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Samuel W. Helm Jr. of Chesapeake; daughter, Ellen Kyle Adkins and husband James of Summerville, S.C.; brother, Malcolm Carl Kyle and wife Margaret of Ivor; and grandchildren, Emma and Katelyn. Cremation arrangements and burial service will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield.
