William Lattimore Obituary

William R. Lattimore NORFOLK - William Rodney Lattimore, 59, of the 4300 block of Tumbling Lane, Ellenwood, Ga., passed away Jan. 23, 2009. He was born May 10, 1949, to the late Overa and Sherman Lattimore in Norfolk. William retired in 2007 from Lockheed Martin as a systems analyst and was most recently employed with IBM. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Diana Lattimore of Ellenwood; one daughter, Kimberly Moore of San Jose, Calif.; three stepdaughters all of San Jose; two sons, William Lattimore Jr. of Norfolk and Brandon Lattimore of San Jose; three stepsons of San Jose and Maryland; one sister, Sarah Ann Trice (Greg) of Lithonia, Ga.; four brothers, W.C. Lattimore-Manning (Jessie) of Gaffney, S.C., Sherman Lattimore Jr. (Jane), Charles Lewis (Carolyn) and Jerrold (Monica), all of Norfolk; 33 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Metropolitan Funeral Service, 120 W. Berkley Ave. Evangelist Michele Donaldson will officiate.
