Glenn Dean Obituary

Glenn C. Dean Sr. CHESAPEAKE - Glenn Clifton Dean Sr., 69, died Feb. 1, 2009. Mr. Dean was born in Wake, N.C. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years, Joyce Dean; son, Glenn "Clift" Dean Jr. and wife Alice of Portsmouth; daughter, Christy Miles and husband A.T. of Chesapeake; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of brothers, sisters and other family and friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Twiford's Funeral Homes, Chesapeake. In lieu flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.

Mr. Dean you surely will be missed. The times we spent together in the outdoors hunting and fishing are memories I will enjoy the rest of my life. I am going to miss you Mr. Dean.
