Helen Simons Obituary

Helen Delois Simons CHESAPEAKE - Helen Delois Simons, 71, of the 1900 block of Robert Hall Blvd., departed this life Feb. 3, 2009. Born in Chesapeake, she was employed with Golden Triangle for more than 30 years until her retirement. She was predeceased by two daughters, Monalisa Thomas and Deborah Anderson. Survivors include three daughters, Teresa A. Anderson of Philadelphia, Glenda L. Simons and Jacqueline Simons of Chesapeake; two sons, William M. Anderson (Joyce) of Chesapeake and Ronnie N. Anderson (Barbara L.) of Portsmouth; one sister, Joyce D. Bonner of Chesapeake; one uncle; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at noon Saturday in New Weeping Mary Baptist Church. Viewing will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday in Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
