Janet T. M. Andrews CHESAPEAKE - Janet T. Moore Andrews, 59, of the 1300 block of Hazel Ave., passed away Feb. 9, 2009, in Sentara Leigh Hospital, Norfolk. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 31 years, Michael J. Andrews Sr.; two daughters, Ronda Flynn (Claude) and Michelle Smullen (Tremayne); two sons, Jonathan Wilkins (LaTisha) and Michael J. Andrews; her father and stepmother, Dr. Samuel Moore and Mrs. Vera Moore; two sisters, Dr. Cynthia Chapman and Samette Walston (Leslie); a brother, (Twin) James Moore (Verndine); eight grandchildren; a devoted friend, Joan Whitted and a host of other relatives. A funeral will be held Tuesday at noon in Garden of Prayer IV, COGIC, 1409 Marshall Ave., Portsmouth, Dr. Samuel Moore, pastor. Burial will be in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery of Hampton Road, Suffolk. Steele-Bullock Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Viewing will be held Monday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Family and friends will assemble in the funeral home, 3950 Turnpike Road, Portsmouth, at 10:15 a.m. for the procession to the church.
