It was truly a shock to see in the paper that Capt Barr had died. My heartfelt sympathy goes to his family. Capt Barr, has and always will be a true Sea Warrior. Having had the opportunity to work in the Ship Survivability Office as his Admin Person and seeing first hand the work that he personified was a great joy and accomplishment. Capt Barr was a true American Hero.
