William Sigafoos Obituary

William E. Sigafoos NORFOLK - William E. Sigafoos, 78, of the 2300 block of Calvin Ave., passed away Feb. 18, 2009, in a Norfolk hospital. He was a native of Ohio and was a retired Navy officer with 23 years of service, He was a member of the Retired Officers Association, the DAV, VFW and Fleet Reserve. He was also a member of St. John's United Methodist Men's Group. He is survived by his wife, Ann E. Sigafoos; two sons, Billy Sigafoos and wife Sherry and Joseph Sigafoos and wife Sheila; his sister, Mary Beckett; five grandchildren, Renee and Lindsey Sigafoos and Joseph, Kristopher and Wesley Sigafoos. He was also survived by two great-grandchildren, Alissa and Kylie Sigafoos. A funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in St. John's United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
