Barbara Jean Seaborn

Barbara J. Seaborn NORFOLK - Barbara Jean Seaborn, 69, of the 5800 block of Lowery Road, passed away Feb. 20, 2009. She was predeceased by her parents, Atha Fowlkes and Archie J. Collins. She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Collins, Pamela Newby and Stephanie Worlds; one son, Ari Williams; four sisters, Deloris Perry, Betty Jo Woodhouse, Chiquita Wells and Sherry; one brother, Reginald Collins; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in Abyssinia Baptist Church, 3301 Colley Ave. The Rev. Dr. Sheridan D. Nelson will officiate. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at the church. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. today at Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby St. Chapel.
