Helen Rogers Smith VIRGINIA BEACH - Helen Rogers "Dee" Smith, 102, died at home Feb. 24, 2009, after a long illness. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Adm. Harold Page Smith. She is survived by nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Mrs. Smith was past president of the Virginia Beach Garden Club, a member of First Presbyterian Church and active in other civic and military organizations. Graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to First Presbyterian Church, 300 36th St., Virginia Beach, VA 23451 or to Sentara Hospice, 535 Independence Parkway, Chesapeake, VA 23322.
