Lois Mitchell Monk

Lois Mitchell Monk VIRGINIA BEACH - Lois Mitchell Monk departed this life on Feb. 22, 2009, after a short illness at the age of 89. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Irene (Raynor) Mitchell formerly of Princess Anne County, now Virginia Beach. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard Monk; two brothers; and five sisters. Left to cherish her memory are a brother, Thomas J. Mitchell (Grace) of Virginia Beach; a sister, Katherine Mitchell of Symrna; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held in Symrna at Faries Funeral Home, 29 S. Main St., Symrna, DE 19977.
