Angelodimos Koyzis Obituary

Angelodimos Koyzis NORFOLK - Angelodimos Koyzis, 84, passed away Feb. 25, 2009. Born in Koma Yialou, Cyprus, he is survived by his wife, Toulla Koyzis of Norfolk; his children, Anthony and Cheryl Koyzis of Farmville, Va., Myroulla and George Chrysostomides of Virginia Beach; his grandchildren, Angelo and Carolyn Koyzis of Farmville, Va., Anna, Emilios and Angelos Chrysostomides of Virginia Beach; and also "Sinatra," the family Chihuahua. A funeral liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral Saturday with the very Rev. Archimandrite Seraphim Poulos, DEAN. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society of Virginia. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

I'm so sorry to hear of Theio Angelo's passing. He was almost like a father to my own father, who loved him deeply. I'm so glad we were able to see him last July. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
