W. Harrell Obituary

W. Dan Harrell SUFFOLK - W. Dan Harrell, 54, passed away Feb. 25, 2009. He was predeceased by his parents, Sarah Ellis Harrell and Lonnie Whidbee Harrell Jr.; and sister, Priscilla H. Arthur. He attended Somerton United Methodist Church. Dan is survived by his devoted companion, Dorothy A. Howell of Suffolk; daughters, Brandy Bridgers of Franklin, Jaime L. Daughtrey and husband Jeremy of Suffolk; sons, Mark Howell of Lynchburg, Va., Kevin Howell of Suffolk; step- daughters, Tara McCaw and Wanda Dickey, both of Suffolk; one grandchild on the way; and brother-in-law, Leroy W. Arthur of Windsor, Va. A funeral will be held today at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with the Rev. Becky Gwaltney officiating. Burial will follow in Holland Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dorothy Howell c/o Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434. Condolences may be registered at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
