W. Dan Harrell

W. Dan Harrell SUFFOLK - W. Dan Harrell, 54, passed away Feb. 25, 2009. He was predeceased by his parents, Sarah Ellis Harrell and Lonnie Whidbee Harrell Jr.; and sister, Priscilla H. Arthur. He attended Somerton United Methodist Church. Dan is survived by his devoted companion, Dorothy A. Howell of Suffolk; daughters, Brandy Bridgers of Franklin, Jaime L. Daughtrey and husband Jeremy of Suffolk; sons, Mark Howell of Lynchburg, Va., Kevin Howell of Suffolk; step- daughters, Tara McCaw and Wanda Dickey, both of Suffolk; one grandchild on the way; and brother-in-law, Leroy W. Arthur of Windsor, Va. A funeral will be held today at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with the Rev. Becky Gwaltney officiating. Burial will follow in Holland Cemetery.
