Joseph Aikman Obituary

Joseph N. Aikman NORFOLK - On Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, Joseph Nathan Aikman died of natural causes in Arlington, Va. He was born May 2, 1912. He leaves to cherish his memory and continue his legacy of love for his family, his church, and commitment to helping others, his children, Suzanne Aikman Fucella and Phillip Leroy Aikman; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Fucella Burgos, Joseph Fucella, Michael Fucella, Phillip Fucella, Amanda Moss and Laura Aikman Smith; his great-grandchildren, Daniella and Maggie Burgos, Kathryn, Kevin, Timothy, David, Joy, Matthew, Rachel, Aylie Fucella and Jaxon Moss. Friends are welcomed to a memorial service today at 2 p.m. in Cherrydale Baptist Church, 3910 Lorcom Lane, Arlington, reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Capital Hospice at www.capitailhospice.org.
