Jim & Sheila,
It was my pleasure to know Jean. I will miss her smiling face and encouragement at the Little Theatre of Portsmouth. She was very blessed to have a loving family like you and your wonderful girls. I, too, am blessed to have known her. You are all in my prayers.

Jim:

While I only knew your mother a short time, I very much enjoyed the time spent with her. I will always cherish the memories of Thanksgiving 2008 and the conversation she and I had regarding football and Mike Vick. I was truly fascinated by her knowledge of the game and the current events surrounding the game. It was a very pleasurable and memorable conversation.
She was a special lady and her presence will be missed.

Jean, I remember you as a lady of high character, loving, caring--you will surely be missed by all who know you, especially by your son James. I worked for Jim Stephenson Sr many years at Central Fidelity Bank. Mr. Stephenson was a gentleman who cared very much for his city, Portsmouth. He made many contributions to its success. I feel honored to have known you Jean. Sincere condolences to your son, and other family members.
