Janet P. Keenan CHESAPEAKE - Janet P. Keenan, 74, of the 2500 block of Harling Drive, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 8, 2009. Born in Millville, N.J., she was the daughter of the late William Pierce and Mary Eleanor Davis. She was the widow of Kenneth E. Keenan Sr. Janet will be remembered as a loving Mom and friend to all who knew her. Survivors include a daughter, Edna K. Skelton and husband Mike of Shawnee, Kan.; two sons, Kenneth E. Keenan Jr. and significant other Marsha Wilkens and Michael J. Keenan and wife Nancy, all of Chesapeake; grandchildren, Paul Skelton and wife Toni, Cari Serio and husband Lou, Matthew Keenan and fiancée Pamela and Christopher Keenan; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Braden and Madison Skelton and Austin Serio; a sister, Nancy Esposito; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Picarelli. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake. The Rev. Jimmy Bennett will officiate. The interment will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The viewing will begin Wednesday with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
