Daniel Hueter Obituary

Daniel E. Hueter VIRGINIA BEACH - Daniel E. Hueter of Buzzard Neck Road died June 12, 2009, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was born in Adrian, Mich., on July 27, 1945, and graduated from Blissfield (Michigan) High School in 1963. He was preceded in death by his parents, M.J. (Shine) Hueter and Mary Letitia Hueter and his brother, Theodore. He is survived by his brother, M. James (Barbara) Hueter, a niece and nephews, and many good friends. Dan served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 until 1975. He worked as a defense contractor for Lockheed-Martin from 1975 until his death. He served as the engineer-in-charge under a combat systems service contract at Dam Neck Naval Base. His valuable leadership, wealth of knowledge, integrity and good humor will be missed. A celebration of life will be held at a date to be announced. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Creeds Rescue Squad of Virginia Beach or the charity of your choice. Cremation Society of Virginia, Hampton Roads office, is assisting the family.
