William Pittenger Obituary

William E. Pittenger Jr. VIRGINIA BEACH - William E. "Bill" Pittenger Jr., 42, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 18, 2009. Bill graduated from Lake Taylor High School and went on to complete his accounting degree at Norfolk State University. He was predeceased by his parents, Loretta and William E. Pittenger Sr. He is survived by his sisters, Bonita Golay of Virginia Beach and Columbine Anderson of Riner, Va.; and brothers, Marcus Seavey of Virginia Beach, and Albert A. "Billy" Seavey of Richmond, Va.; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your charity of choice. The family will receive friends in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. A private service will be held in Maine at a later date. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

I am so sorry to hear of Bill's death. I went to high school with him and remember that he was always smiling. My sympathy to your family during this difficult time.

We were shocked to hear the news of Jr. It seemed like yesterday he was standing at the fence. Jr. made it a point almost ever year to stop by Christmas eve. May God's blessing be with you all on this journey.
