Louise DeBerry Obituary

Louise E. DeBerry FRANKLIN - Louise Ellis DeBerry, 90, widow of Marshall Morton DeBerry Sr., died June 20, 2009, at Lake Prince Woods. She was born in Isle of Wight County, the daughter of the late Charles W. and Lillie Mae Matthews Ellis, and was predeceased by her brother, William Charles Ellis. Mrs. DeBerry was a 1937 graduate of Carrsville High School and a member of High Street United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy D. Arnold and husband Carroll of Bloomfield, Ky.; her son, Marshall M. DeBerry Jr. of Alexandria; two grandchildren, William Arnold and wife Delisa of Bloomfield and David Arnold and wife Marsha of Bardstown, Ky.; and five grandchildren, Cody and Chris Arnold, and Andy, Camryn, and Hallie Arnold. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in High Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Susan Reaves officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Wright Funeral Home, Franklin. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.

Jeanne and my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family during this time. Louise never left my heart and mind as she was a wonderful friend and an inspiration to many. She was very special to me and her memory always will be. I am very fortunate and thankful she was a part of my life.
