Wilson Jenkins

Wilson W. Jenkins NORFOLK - Wilson Willie Jenkins, 87, passed away June 21, 2009. He was born to the late Albert and Martha Hobbs-Jenkins in Capron, Va. Wilson was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Norfolk. He retired from the U.S. Government after 35 years as a painter. He served proudly in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by three daughters, Delois Townes, Diane Hawks and Brenda Melniczak (James); one son, Albert Jenkins (Iris); devoted friend, Doris Jean Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Metropolitan Funeral Service, 120 W. Berkley Ave. Interment will be in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Boykins, Va.
