Carolin Sennett

Carolin P. Sennett NORFOLK - Carolin P. Sennett, 71, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. A longtime native and resident of the Boston area, Mrs. Sennett moved to Norfolk in 2006 to live with her daughter and family. She was born Dec. 28, 1937, to the late John J. and Harriet Croke in Boston. Carolin married Robert Sennett Feb. 28, 1958, and worked for more than 30 years for Bradlees in Dorchester, Mass., until she retired. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sennett; a daughter, Cheryl Ann Sennett; sisters, Madeline McGurr, Geraldine Clancy, Jeannette Allen and Dorothy Croke. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Miller and husband William of Norfolk; son, Robert A. Sennett of Massachusetts; two grandsons, Michael and Brian Miller; brothers, John J. Croke and Edward Croke; sisters, Eleanor R. Vasell and Beverly Ann Demallo. A celebration of life will be held at noon Sunday at Castle Island in South Boston, Mass.
