Mitchell Knorowski Obituary

Mitchell Knorowski CHESAPEAKE - Mitchell "Mike" Knorowski, 90, went home to be with the Lord June 29, 2009, in Norfolk. A native of Dilles Bottom, Ohio, he was the last of nine children of the late John and Mary Budz Knorowski and the widower of Violet Kaudes Knorowski. He retired from Virginia Power as a power plant supervisor. He was a former member of Rosemont Baptist Church in Chesapeake. He is survived by his daughter, Vicki Lynn Reynolds and her husband Duane of East Corinth, Vt.; a niece, Violet Jane Holt and her husband Paul of Virginia Beach; two great-nephews, John and David Foxwell; and a great-great nephew, John Austin Foxwell. A funeral will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, with Pastor Joe Gwynn officiating. The burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

Violet,

I am sorry to hear of Mike's passing.

My mother loved Mike and did what she could to help him before she passed. She took him to the mall often so he could walk around and get his exercise. He sure did like being healthy! I guess it helped, he lived until he was 90!

Praise the Lord he knew Jesus and is now in heaven with Him!
