Christopher Lieble Obituary

Christopher W. Lieble CHESAPEAKE - Christopher W. Lieble, 33, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer Sunday, June 28, 2009. He was born April 21, 1976, in Wiesbaden, Germany, the son of Charles and Freda Lieble. He was an active member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Christopher enjoyed football and was an avid weight lifter. He was employed as a machine operator with Unilever in Suffolk. He was a 1994 graduate of Bob Jones High School in Madison, Ala., and a 1998 graduate of Calhoun Community College in Athens, Ala., and was within a semester of completing his bachelors degree at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He was a wonderful person to be around and he enjoyed life to its fullest and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his parents; his brother, Charles W. and wife Amanda and their two children Cosette and Savannah. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends are invited to gather with the family Friday, July 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Christopher's name to the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation, 333 Mamaroneck Ave. No. 492, White Plains, NY 10605.
