Dorothy Culpepper Obituary

Dorothy Gallup Culpepper VIRGINIA BEACH - Dorothy Gallup Culpepper, 82, of the 200 block of Peachwood Lane, passed away June 30, 2009, in her home. A native of New England, N.D., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Frieda Gallup. She worked as a clerk at Hilltop Pharmacy until she retired to spend time with her grandsons. She volunteered numerous hours sewing and crocheting items for the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles S. Culpepper Jr.; her son, Lloyd Winchester III and his wife Susan of Virginia Beach; and two grandsons, Cole Winchester of Virginia Beach and Hunter Winchester of Greenville, N.C. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in Princess Anne Memorial Park. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
