My Dearest Michael,

I love you with all my heart and soul and you will forever be a part of me. You were my soul mate and only you will continue to hold that special part in my heart. It is very difficult without you because as you know we had something special. God has blessed us with three wonderful sons and each time I see them, I see you. Until we meet again in God's kingdom, I will cherish our memories. Always and forever, Lovingly, Regina

Mike , what can I say. You inspired me and taught me things that motivate me today. I will miss you . You always had this cool presence, that made staff and especially those in your care, feel safe and in your trust. I always thought that you had everyone's interest in the forefront. And thats what made you a natural born leader of everyone you came in contact with. To Mike's Family- I pray for your family in this time of grief.

May God be with the family and comfort them now and as time goes on. I was really saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I worked with him at Hampton Roads Specialty Hospital.

Mike was one of the most kind & compassionate people I knew.We worked together at Sentara Norfolk General for years.Whenever I came to work not feeling quite well,he would always make me stop & take my blood pressure because he knew I would just keep on going & not take any time to care for myself.Rest well,my friend. To the family my condolences, but just rest assured that he is in a much better place than this.

I had the pleasure of being a team member of Mike's at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. I was new to psychiatric nursing, but Mike never made me feel as though I wasn't a knowledgeable part of the team. He worked on his side of the unit and I worked on mine, but whenever I needed his expertise on anything, he was there for me. When my husband became ill in 2002, and subsequently passed away in 2004, Mike was there for me again, as well as for my spouse. He visited us in the hospital, and he was a very generous donor of his leave time, along with many others, so that I could continue to get paid while away from my job. Mike was like a brother to many of us, and his passing saddens me deeply. To his family, I would like to offer my heartfelt sympathy, but rest in the knowledge that there is a new angel in God's Heaven, and he is watching over all of you. May our Lord bless and keep you in the comfort of His wings during this difficult time.
