Tamela Kirk Obituary

Tamela P. Kirk BLACK CREEK - Tamela Price Kirk, 48, of Southampton County and a resident of Black Creek, passed away July 1, 2009. She was a native of Johnston County, N.C., and the daughter of the late Ruth Carol Edmond and Charles B. Price. Tamela is survived by her husband, James L. Kirk. Together they owned Back Woods Leather in Churchland. She is also survived by her daughter, Betty D. C. Joyce; two sons, Jake B. Schafer and Travis C. Schafer; grandson, Blake Schafer; three sisters, Becky Travioli, Donna Phillips and Deborah Stone; three nieces and four nephews. A funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, with visitation to follow. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Salvation Army.
