Gerald Guinazzo Obituary

Gerald David Guinazzo ORLANDO, Fla. - "Gerry" Guinazzo passed away at his home July 5, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Guinazzo; his daughter, Vallerie Black; extended family and many friends and loved ones whom he considered family. Retired from the Navy Seabees and subsequently the Portsmouth Police Department, Gerry and Phyllis moved to Orlando in 1999 where they have enjoyed countless evenings at the Epcot Center, listening to their favorite Mariachi bands, and spending time with their Floridian friends who have been a great source of friendship. Friends and family will meet at Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, Thursday, July 9, at 1:30 p.m. for a procession to Greenlawn Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum, Airline Boulevard, Chesapeake, where a graveside service will take place at 2 p.m. Online condolences and Mr. Guinazzo's guestbook may be signed at www.lovingfuneralhome.com.

Gerry was more than a customer...he was a friend who always had something witty to say or a laugh to share. I will miss him dearly. My deepest condolances to his family.
