God Bless the Brown Family as they attempt to deal with the lost of "Doc Brown". His smile will be remembered as well as the fact he was a Dentist on call 24/7 for his patients and friends. I am fearful of being in a Dentist's chair; Bill Brown is the only Dentist I had that I never felt a pain during and after his work. Rest in Peace. I will truly miss you.

Thanks Carl Harrison for keeping me posted. Like so many, I have nothing but fond memories of Bro Bill; the home parties (McGaskey, Pretty Paige, et.al. wow! what a time);Spades...even meeting my wife during the association. When he left for dental school, we were all proud. When he returned, he set the bar :) I staying with him a few days en route to Cali in 1980,and he remained an encourager. Surely, he is in the presence of his Maker--that's eases my heart. Let that knowledge comfort yours. He accomplished much, touched many--truly his life mattered. He accomplished quite a bit between his dash. Let's follow his example.

Dear Gwen and Family,

I was shocked and terribly saddened to hear of the sudden loss of an old friend, as well and our family dentist. We grew up together, and we were in school together. Bill was a truly remarkable person with many accomplishments. He always remembered his beginnings, and he was always grounded in his roots. His infectious laughter never knew strangers. I appreciated the way he worked with me and my family over the years to give us the best care. He is gone, but he will never be forgotten in our hearts. May God grant you strength and wisdom, and you all continue to have the faith and know that that He knows best. We all loved him, but so did God. Remember Philippians 4:13.

Our families grew up together in Bowling Park. Even then, "young" Bill was a person full of laughter!

Take comfort in Jesus Christ. May "He" fill your hearts with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate Bill's life.

To the Brown family,

It is with deepest sympathy that I offer my condolences. Bill and I met at Norfolk State back in the 70s and I found him to be a real character, who loved to have fun. Yet, he was a serious student. What a shock to hear of his passing. I pray that you will find comfort in knowing that God is able to comfort you in such a time as this. Hold fast to the promise, that He will never leave you nor forsake you.

God is my strength and my comfort.
On any given day, you may face a challenge. Some challenges, such as forgetting my wallet or having a flat tire, are quickly resolved. Others, such as the loss of someone special or a sudden change in my life's circumstances, take more time and strength. Whether you are facing a small difficulty or a tougher one, the peace of God is my comfort.

"Sing for joy, O heavens, and exult, O earth; ... For the Lord has comforted his people."--Isaiah 49:13
