James Perry Obituary

James Clifton Perry NORFOLK - James Clifton Perry, 70, of the 3300 block of Somme Ave., passed away July 9, 2009. He was born Jan. 11, 1939 to the late Cecil Perry Sr. and Lillian E. Perry in Edenton, N.C. He was predeceased by his brothers, William A. Freeman, Ivory L. Perry and Cecil Perry Jr. James graduated from Booker T. Washington Night School with a certificate in carpentry. He retired from construction in July 2001. Loving memories will be cherished by his wife, Willie Perry; one son, Kenneth Perry; two grandsons, Kemetric Perry and Keon Perry; one sister, Ethel Smith; one brother, Mills E. Perry; eight sister-in-laws; two brother-in-laws; two aunts; and a host of relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Metropolitan Funeral Service, 7246 Granby St. Condolences may be offered at www.metropolitanfuneralservice.com.
