Roberto Abuel Obituary

Roberto P. Abuel Sr. VIRGINIA BEACH - Roberto Palenzuela Abuel Sr., 63, passed away July 13, 2009. Mr. Abuel was born in Rosario, La Union, Philippines. He was preceded in death by his wife, Teofila Carbon Abuel. He served as a maintenance technician for M&G Electronics for more than 24 years. Survivors include four children, Nelson Abuel, Rowena Villaraza, Roberto Abuel Jr., Ferdinand Abuel, all of Virginia Beach; eight grandchildren, Rannie, Arielle, Christianna Fe, Sharalyn, Kenneth, Jenna, Gabriella Rose and Kayla Faith. The family will receive friends Thursday and Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Christian wake service Friday at 7 p.m. in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. A Mass Of Christian burial will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Luke's Catholic Church by Father Silvio Kaberia. Interment will follow at Colonial Grove Memorial Park. Friends may sign the guest register book at www.mem.com.
