Wanda Fink Obituary

Wanda Mae Ochs Fink SUFFOLK - Wanda Mae Ochs Fink, 50, of Winborne Drive, died July 13, 2009, in a Norfolk hospital. A native of Portsmouth, she was the daughter of the late John Richard Fink. A registered nurse, Wanda retired from the American Red Cross. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include her mother, Janis Hatcher Wigle and husband Howard of Suffolk; one sister, Janis Lynne Bryant and husband Paul of Portsmouth; one stepsister, Kimberly Goetz and husband Len of Jonesboro, Ill.; two stepbrothers, Howard Wigle Jr. of Suffolk and Charles Wigle of Louisville, Miss.; one niece, Angie Shaw of Muncie, Ind.; one nephew, Daniel Wiggins of Charlottesville, Va.; five great-nieces; one great-nephew; and a very close friend, Rita Cahoon of Grantsboro, N.C. A funeral will be held Thursday, July 16, at noon in Central Baptist Church by the Rev. David Simpson. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, today from 6 to 8 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation, 9221 Ward Parkway, Suite 400, Kansas City, MO 64114-3367. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com.
