Alice Batten

Alice Webb Batten NORFOLK - Alice Webb Batten of Norfolk died July 27, 2009, at Harbour Pointe Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Reed Batten. She was a Jehovah's Witness and attended the Mayflower Road Congregation. She is survived by her daughter, Martha B. Hall of Virginia Beach and three sons, James Reed Batten Jr. and wife Margaret of Annandale, Va., Larry James Batten and wife Rosemary of Chesapeake, and Robert Webb Batten of Norfolk. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was cremated and there will be no services.
