John Fox Obituary

John Wesley Fox VIRGINIA BEACH - John Wesley Fox, 92, went to be with the Lord July 29, 2009. He was a member of Thalia Methodist Church. John was also a 60-year member of Lynnhaven Masonic Lodge No. 220 and past Grand Patron of the Grand Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star of the State of Virginia. He was well loved and respected by everyone, his wife, family, and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 68 years, Mary S. Fox; two children, Robert W. Fox and wife Linda, and Nancy Hauser and husband Raymond, all of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Arthur Wolz Jr. Entombment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. Casual attire is accepted. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home with Order of the Easter Star and Masonic Rites beginning at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kempsville, Plaza, and or the Sandbridge Volunteer Rescue Squads.
