Kathleen Henry Obituary

Kathleen L. Henry VIRGINIA BEACH - Kathleen Laurette Henry, 61, died July 28, 2009. Mrs. Henry was born in Texas to the late Richard and Ethel Schiller Krasky. She was an avid Bingo player and a published poet who enjoyed looming (making native American jewelry) and singing. Mrs. Henry was predeceased by her husband, Samuel D. Henry Sr.; son, Richard Henry; and two sisters. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Sam D. Henry Jr. and wife Laura and Joseph Henry and wife Michelle; daughter-in-law, Gale Henry; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of brothers, sisters and other family members. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the park pavilion by Little Island Fishing Pier, 3820 S. Sandpiper Road, Sandbridge, Va. In lieu of flowers, potted plants for a memorial garden the family will be starting would be appreciated. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.twifordfh.com.
