Clyde Burston Obituary

Clyde A. Burston CHESAPEAKE - Clyde A. Burston, 79, of the 1500 block of Stillwood St., died Aug. 12, 2009. He was a member of New Beginnings Christian Church, Norfolk. Survivors include his wife, Glendora Burston; seven daughters, Lydia Riddick, Verlicious Clark, Sandra Nimmo, Rene' Davis, Latesha Gray, Darlene Jones, Sharon Phillips; two sons, Wade Duncan and Ernest Savage; one sister, Gwendolyn Boyd; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held Monday, Aug. 17, at noon in Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, 1057 Kennedy St., Norfolk, the Rev. Shawn Singleton presiding. Burial will be held in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Sunday from 1 to 5:30 p.m. in Community Funeral Home, Norfolk.
