Daniel Holland Obituary

Daniel Holland CHESAPEAKE - Daniel Holland, 64, of the 700 block of Sandwillow Drive, passed away Aug. 18, 2009, in his home. A native of Norfolk County, he was retired from QVC as a shipping clerk and was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his daughter, Amber Pond and her husband Paul of Manteo, N.C.; two sons, David Holland of Richmond, Va., and Aaron Holland of Portsmouth; two sisters, Linda Bradshaw and Sally Winters; and his mother, Marjorie Outlaw, all of Suffolk. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Alex and Ericka Pond of Manteo, N.C., and his companion Raelene Hoogendorn of Chesapeake. A memorial service will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
