Joseph V. Norge

Joseph V. Norge CHESAPEAKE - Joseph V. Norge, 80, of the 700 block of Rapidan River Court, passed away Aug. 18, 2009, in Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. A native of Norfolk, he was the son of the late Emery and Mary Norge. He was retired from civil service and an Army veteran. He was a great conversationalist and loved watching the Dallas Cowboys. He is survived by his brother, Buddy Norge and his wife Mary Helen of Virginia Beach; a brother-in-law, Peter Decker of Norfolk; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Norge of Virginia Beach; three nieces and five nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Emery Norge and two sisters, Irene Decker and Viola Giddings. A graveside service will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
